Whatever the Season, Zoë Kravitz Backs These It-Girl Staples

When the seasons start to change, personal style can be put into peril. Not for Zoë Kravitz. As rain becomes more frequent and the opportunity to frolic through London’s green parks fades away as we get back to business, how one dresses for transeasonal weather feels like a distant memory. It’s still balmy, but a breeze through Brooklyn could knock you sideways. Big Shorts Summer is over.
Where did all my closed toe shoes go? Kravitz, a seasoned pro, knows her simple staples will carry her though. The actor was spotted yesterday out and about in New York as she ran errands; she wore a black cropped tank top, a low-rise black slip skirt, and black ballet flats. She accessorized with oversized Thistles sunglasses, wired headphones, and a large black leather shoulder bag.
She wore her braided hair in a half-up, half-down style. It’s a signature Zoë Kravitz look, the building blocks of her nonchalant yet always polished style comprising slip skirts and tanks (from Cou Cou intimates or The Row), slouchy bags (again, The Row or Saint Laurent), ballet flats and mules, slogan tees and novelty caps (borrowed and shared with fiancé Harry Styles) etc.
When we fully transition to fall, all she has to do is add a sinewy knit and tailored coat. While it’s been a great summer for easy-breezy coordinating couple style with Kravitz and Styles, they really start dressing when the weather changes and all their knits and layers from The Row come back into play. Fall is incoming!
